This site is meant to be an extension from the excellent Cobra and Seawolf site to show off pictures of various aspects of the Seawolf 26.

As many of the Seawolf 26s were home completed, and as there were at least 3 different versions, there is quite a scope for variation in spite of there being only about 50 ever made. The Seawolf 26 was designed in 1979, and I believe the Mk 2 was developed in 1983, with the Mk 3 in 1989. What set me off on producing these was all the help and photos that I received from at least 5 fleet members while I tried to bring my Seawolf "Rosa" up to scratch - an ongoing project. A particularly big thanks to Jonathan "Woolfee" Milree, who has regularly offered help.

If you have any Seawolf 26 photos that you would like to be included, particularly of the boat sailing, please send me it / them and I will try to incorporate them.

Mk 1

Mk 2

Mk 1 has lower coach roof (abut 130 mm less) & non-slip provided by trackmark. Some have lower mast and shorter boom, hence smaller mainsail

Mk 2 - with non-slip built into mould - will be slightly heavier and more windage with 5' 10" headroom in the cabin. Mast quite heigh (35 ft)

The Mk 1 has a small cockpit hatch, with a deep drop into the cabin. Allows wider traveller. The Mk 1 should sail a bit better in windier conditions

The Mk 2 has larger cockpit hatch, with a shallower drop into the cabin. Very limited traveller. Should be more comfortable for cruising.

I have no pictures of a Mk 3, but believe that externally the boats look like a Mk 2 with a modified transom. Any photos gratefully received.
